I'm usually happy with this vet, but so far we've only needed health checks. My dog now has something wrong snd I've been on call waiting for 1 1/2 hrs. All along I've been 'caller no.1 or 2'. It's just not good enough!

Wonderful practice. Jasper cat is in great hands. They are on top of everything, from reminders of regular visits to post visit follow up. Everyone there is kind. They do care big time. Thank you guys!

I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration following my visit to Medivet in Woolwich yesterday. During my appointment, which was my first visit to your clinic, the veterinarian suggested an immediate blood test for Brucella for my 5-month-old puppy. This was despite my dog showing no symptoms of the condition. The primary reason for my visit was to check my dog’s microchip and ensure everything was in order, as he has recently arrived from Romania. Unfortunately, the consultation quickly turned distressing. The doctor alarmingly suggested that if the test results were positive, my puppy would need to be euthanized, creating unnecessary panic and emotional distress. This was compounded by her lack of empathy and her attempt to scare and manipulate me into agreeing to the test.I also mentioned that my puppy had diarrhea after accidentally eating some steak from my plate. She provided me with tablets to add to his food. After leaving the clinic feeling extremely upset, I consulted with other veterinarians and friends, only to discover that the advice and actions taken by the Medivet doctor were highly questionable and manipulative.Given that I paid £200 for this visit, which I find unacceptable given the circumstances, I am requesting a full refund. I have already sought legal advice regarding this matter and am determined to address what I perceive as unethical behaviour from the veterinarian.I expect immediate action to rectify this situation.

charged me £300 for a stool test for my cat and then i had to chase them for the results. Went to another vet after my cat became worse and medivet were stalling with the results. New Vet (Goddard) asked for the results which Medivet were unable to provide because they hadn't carried out the test. They basically just stole my money, The money is not an issue however the duty of care to my pet is appalling. Also noticed the vet was scared of my cat which is comical as he is a fall grown man. Do not use these charlatans and see if you have a local Goddard who employ real vets and care for the animals entrusted into their care. Its now been two months and still not had the results back.

The vet was excellent and they really looked after my pooch. They were slightly cheaper than my regular vet too.

Super happy with our first visit to Medivet Woolwich and vet Aaron was super great with our Siamese kitten Imbo. In fact we think Imbo wants to move there as his workplace - he certainly made himself at home. 😻

I’m not one to usually write reviews but I’m constantly let down by this practice. My kitten was booked in for neutering in December to which it was cancelled the day before due to ‘not having a vet’ (this is the busiest time of year for me with work and I booked holiday to care for my cat) After going back and fourth the appointment was rebooked for January only to be cancelled again due to ‘no vet available’ I ended up just saying I’ll go elsewhere for the surgery because I can’t deal with constantly being messed about. If you want a vet that you have to sit on the phone 40 minutes plus being first in the line then this is the place for you. Calling to request prescriptions only to call back a week later and waiting an hour on the phone to be told ‘the system failed and it wasn’t put through’ I was told by their own receptionist to put in a complaint because they’re the ones dealing with it all because of the let down of vets. I have now spent the morning registering my much loved cats to hopefully a better place. I’ve asked for my details to be taken off their system as I will never be returning. I don’t need one of your automated responses to my review.

Been coming to this vets for years since Medivet has taken over it’s gone downhill. Had appointments moved because of no vets. The only good point is the back room staff are nice and caring

I'd like to start by saying I have no issues with the vet. She has always been professional and kind. However, booking appointments are impossible as reception will confirm with you but then say this never happened. We travel from far and so far 3 appointments (with text confirmation) were apparently wrong. I find staff at front desk extremely unhelpful and difficult to talk to. We had one appointment during the Bank holiday via the new booking system, we came and the clinic was closed! how is this possible when you confirmed, sent reminders and Google says you are open?? Please stop wasting our time and money.
