Our dog had accident and damaged part of his ear. This was a Sunday and we were a few hours from home. Our situation dictated an emergency as we weren’t equipped to deal with it. We stumbled across Medivet on google and they fit us in for an emergency appointment. They couldn’t have more accommodating and professional. They treated our dog and ourselves so nicely and understood our situation. Thank you to the team for being so warm and accommodating, much appreciated.

Really impressed with the level of service here, especially given it was on a Saturday and this is not our usual vets. Within two hours of phone call, my cat was seen by the vet and blood test results came in 10 minutes after that.

I cannot fault Medivets Woodstock with the service and empathy/sympathy we received as a very saddened family due to the loss of our dog Archie. Due to old age (nearly 17) and very poor health we had to make a very difficult decision to end our dogs life. I had firstly contacted a vets in my local area (Yarnton) and was met with no sympathy and a disregard for my dog’s wellbeing. I then thankfully contacted Medivet Woodstock and was immediately spoken to with respect and compassion by an amazing young girl who I felt really cared what we were going through. She talked through all the options with care and respect and we felt instantly looked after. We had an appointment that evening and were able to bring along the people that loved our dog to say our goodbyes. It was an emotional experience for us all and we were treated with care and compassion. The young girl on reception (and the phone) said she was new to the post but I honestly felt she was so kind and helpful and empathetic in how we were treated. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name but hopefully they will know who I am talking about- she was amazing. We chose to bring our Archie home for a burial feeling no prejudice about our decision. We felt very much that they loved Archie as much as we did and showed such respect, care and attention. Thank you for all the support we were given and making such an awful decision and emotional experience as comforting and caring as possible. We also received a card in the post sending thoughts and sympathy for our loss. Thank you. We will always remember how cared for you made us feel.

Whilst staying at Burford on holiday from Essex, one of our cats developed a limp. A phone call to a local veterinary surgery suggested Medivet in Woodstock. From initial phone call to treatment was a hassle-free experience. We were offered an appointment the same morning and when I explained that we did not have a carrier, reception were able to provide one on our arrival. Staff were professional, friendly and welcoming. With building works taking place, the surgery was as clean and tidy as could be expected. The Vet was able to establish that the issue was likely joint difficulties (arthritis) and went through a number of possible treatments, advising we should follow up with our regular vet and that he would provide them with the medical notes. We were provided with Rheumocam, which seems to have helped almost immediately. The charge for the consultation and treatment was as to be expected (£96). Although I am unlikely to use Medivet Woodstock again, I can certainly recommend them.

There is so much I could say here medivet is not my regular vet but when my cat fell out the window braking her leg over a weekend over a month ago medivet was my out of hours practice and I’m not gunna lie it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions dealing with infection my cat did loose her leg but is alive and infection free, I couldn’t thank all these vets enough for what they have done for me and my cat, I know yulliah has now built a reputation with the vets and nurses for being spicy hehe she’s not a fan of vets but they did so well with her and gave her all the care they could and I couldn’t thank you all enough

Took my cat in as it was a Sunday and my registered vets were closed. She had a nasty bite wound and was in a lot of pain. The vet that treated her was Mr Giorgianni. He had no empathy or compassion and was clearly unfocused as he shaved the wrong back leg! My cats wound was on her other back leg! I don't know whether he realised but said nothing or he just decided to go along with it! He also kept calling my female cat a He! It was an unprofessional error and definitely should have known better being a vet! I feel extremely angry the way my cat was treated by this vet especially as you put your trust and faith in these professionals who are looking after your beloved pets!
