I've been working at Medivet Hendon since March 2022. For the 15 years prior to that, I was at the Medivet in Hampstead Garden Suburb, my first ever job. I really love the area and I lived here for some time after I was married. I have always felt a real connection to the people in the area and as a result this remains my 1st and only veterinary job, even 13 years after finishing uni. My passion is for medicine cases and I regularly give advise to neighbouring Medivet clinics on complex medical cases. Outside of work I play football and squash and love reading. I am married with 3 lovely kids and 1 very cheeky cat called Coco.

New year! New job! I started my 2024 with a new job at Medivet Hendon and enjoyed it from day one. I have 2 doggies who I adore. They have complete opposite personalities and they keep me going. Although it’s been tempting to get another dog, I thought it would be best to work at a vet and surround myself with animals. So here I am! Extremely friendly and helpful vet! We called them during the weekend after a feral cat abandoned her 3 kittens to us. They were so helpful answering all our questions and booking us in for a free kitten health check. When we went into their practice we explained our situation and they took in the kittens to look after and hopefully rehome them. As guilty as we feel, I'm grateful that we found a safer place for those poor kittens.

For the past 10 years i’ve been taking my cat to a different vet, where she would have to be put under anaesthesia because she was ‘too aggressive’ once we would leave the place she would pee and poo herself because she was so scared & stressed. Today was the first day we went to Medivet and the cat has never been so calm , and the vaccine was done quick, with amazing service. That just goes to show it wasn’t the cat that’s the problem ,the other vet place just didn’t know how to handle the cat and they would just make her very stressed. I’m very impressed with Medivet , best service the cat has ever received !!!

I don’t trust them as i had few times visited them, Be careful when you going for vaccinations, they may try to make payment high by some simple checks,if they realised you’re new owner they definitely will increase 📈 youre amount this is how they are. I hope never any body taking the pet as emergency care with this rubbers vets.

Really excellent experience. Came in around midnight with a poor 8 month old cat that had broken & dislocated his leg. Vet (Liaanne) and Nurse (Amy) were superb. Friendly, professional, competent and comforting. Highly recommended, thank you all again!

As much as I am so happy with the vet care by vet Laura to my dog Millie, I am truly appalled by the uncaring attitude, inefficiency and unprofessionalism of the admin team in charge of refunds. Unfortunately for me, the practice team leader, Jeremy Carr, was away, so I was unable to escalate my complaint directly to him, and was left feeling totally helpless in a matter that could have been so swiftly dealt with. The practice erroneously made my partner pay for meds for my dog (despite his remonstrations), when it has always been the case that the bill was forwarded to my insurers for direct payment. When I raised this error with them, they took responsibility and said that my partner would be refunded in full immediately. Of course, nothing happened and finally, after many calls from me, they said that they decided not to make the refund to us until after the insurers settled the claim with them directly, even though they failed to put in the claim to the insurers at the time when the meds were dispensed and only did so after I repeatedly asked them to! The team promised to call me about this but of course did not until I started complaining. The member of staff I spoke to blamed their superiors for not being able to assist, even though the error was theirs. Shameful customer care to a very long-standing and loyal customer and, were my dog not pretty ancient and needing to remain under such good and caring vet care, I would have left this practice immediately. More fool me for having recommended Medivet Hendon to many people including Mayhew Animal Home adopters (where I volunteer as a canine home visitor). This practice is sorely let down by the non-vet team.

Thank you Medivet for looking after our 2 year old Cat Bennie in an emergency situation this week. We had such a positive experience with every team member we interacted with; initially from a sympathetic, caring Receptionist to the Veterinarian, Fransisco who went out of his way to map out and explain in detail different options we had to care for our Cat. Thanks again, we really appreciate you and will be returning!

If you are thinking of taking your pet here I would firmly suggest to AVOID this particular practice in HENDON at all cost, because there is a HIGH level of NEGLIGENCE combined with CARELESSNESS not to mention the INSENSITIVE MINDLESSNESS staff who are only interested in PROFIT before People. I am deeply distressed as they have MISSED LAYED my elderly mothers cat's ashes I am so disappointed with the low level of lack of service I received throughout the process. If they do not ⁰recover or find the ashes of our deceased cat Medivet Hendon, will not hear the end of This 💔 😢
